More cards for Calendar Book
I managed to get 6 more cards done for my Special occasions Calendar Book class today. I’ve used some products that I had put away and never used yet so it was exciting to see everything turn out with out too many frustrations.
I really love this one. I used the Big Shot Bigs scallop envelope die and the embosslits Beautiful Wings for all the butterfly’s.
I love the medallion background stamp. This one I took a light green patterned designer paper and clear embossed the medallion. Then I used Regal Rose ink and sponged all over the paper. The clear embossing shows the original paper and the ink doesn’t stick to it.
I used the Dreams du Jour stamp set on this card. I don’t think this picture does the card justice.
I love the simplicity of this card. Designer series paper and the sentiment is from the Heard From the Heart set.
Another simple card. I used the bird from the Cheep talk set and the flower in the upper left corner is from Autumn Days. I used the curly label punch for the center cut outs.
A more manly card. I purchased the Autumn Days set specifically to make more male cards but man cards are a bit out of my comfort zone. I sewed the “x’s” with hemp twine and I heat embossed the leaves with Copper embossing powder. This is my husbands favorite of all the cards so far for this project.
I hope you all enjoy and I hope to have the rest of the cards designs done by the end of the weekend.
